MLA College offers a number of bursaries and scholarships to students who meet specific criteria.  Information regarding these, including the details of who qualifies, can be found below.

 

MLA College Bursary Scheme

MLA College is pleased to announce it will be awarding a number of bursaries in 2021/2022 to applicants who have annual incomes of less than £25,000 (or equivalent). Bursaries will also be available for women (UK or non-UK residents) to support Women into Maritime and Women into Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM).  More information...

 

Women in Maritime Scholarship

Launched in March 2021 to support International Women’s Day, and to tackle gender inequalities in the sector, MLA College will award all new female students enrolling onto the January 2022 term a £500 scholarship.  More information...

 

Hüseyin Yücel Scholarship (MBA)

This January we are offering five students a 50% Hüseyin Yücel Scholarship to study a Master in Business Administration.  Subjects include: Maritime Operations; Marketing; Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Finance and Capital Markets; and Financial Technology (FiTech).  To qualify for the scholarship, a "letter of motivation" must be submitted in addition to the application documentation.  Please contact us for more information.

 

MLA College Alumni Society

Upon successful completion of their programme, graduates are invited to join the MLA College Alumni Society.  MLA College Alumni receive a 25% discount for any programmes should they return to their studies with us.  More information...

 

Singapore Maritime Cluster Fund (MCF)

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has announced they will continue to provide the Maritime Cluster Fund (MCF) in 2021, which will support companies and individuals develop their industry skills.  Marine and maritime citizens from Singapore can apply for up to 90 per cent funding to study with MLA College.  More information...

 

BIMCO member discount

Working in partnership with BIMCO, the largest international shipping association shipowners, charterers, shipbrokers and agents, we are offering a 20% discount off our degree programmes tuition fees to its members.
